1. Effects of Childhood Habits in The Adulthood

Early patterns can have a profound impact on both physical and psychological development.

Healthy routines when they are consistently will offer security and roadmap to follow later on adulthood.

The study of early childhood development has linked a child's habits throughout their childhood to their academic success. This study estimated that a child's early developmental patterns have a 51% chance of succeeding later in life.

Because we can adopt unhealthy habits or beneficial for our wellbeing, it's never too early to start having conversations with your children. If they're old enough to understand, you can even discuss how and what ways affect their lives now and the repercussions that can have for their future.

2. Healthy Eating during the childhood

It is a well-known fact that the habits we develop early in life stay with us throughout our lives. As a result, we must pay attention to our kids in these early stages of their development to build a healthy lifestyle.

One of the essential habits developed in infancy are dietary habits. It influences how your child takes up nutrients and ultimately predicts how he or she would eventually grow.

For example, we know that children will prefer sweet flavours and also can become picky eaters at some stages. As parents, we tend to be more open-minded and careless with what their children eat; we might think they will eat it later on when the grown-up, but this is when kids may develop an appetite for junk food that may negatively affect their health in the future.

As you try to guide your kids towards healthier eating habits, it is essential to remember that labelling a particular group of food as harmful or forbidding children to eat may lead to them pursuing it, so it is crucial to handle this with caution.

Our children's healthy habits will get developed slowly through persistence and opportunities to learn these attitudes. It is your duty as a parent to be patient and lead by example, so your kids can see that you practice what you preach.

To learn the different groups of nutrients, minerals and their function, we can use the playtime as a moment to understand why it is so important to eat each of them.

3. How to guide your child to the positives practices in their childhood?

Communicating, while you are expending quality time together, is a great way to talk to your child, so be sure to do it reasonably. For example, you can have conversations about school, sports, and other things that will create positive relationships between you and your child, before to tell what you think could get better.

Create healthy communication channels between you and your child, will allow to you explain better why you're making some decisions or suggestion it is the case.

Providing positive feedback encourages kids when they are doing well, helps them trust their decisions, and develops an independence of thought that would serve them well in the future.

Create meaningful conversation to talk and without overthinking topics to discuss; can help to use games and prompt cards that will lead naturally to interesting chats and develop opportunities to create a healthy bond and space to address any situation you consider.
